Appointments are carefully scheduled and we are usually ontime.  Often, we are ahead of schedule!  Please be on time for your appointment.  If you must be late, please call to let us know.

A responsible adult must accompany your child for each visit.  A parent or legal guardian must complete a health history form and give consent for treatment.

Parents are welcome to accompany their children into our treatment areas.  We take a unifying approach to dentistry.  Dr. Mary works to build a relationship with both the child and the parent.  A parent's knowledge can be invaluable when working with sensory issues or medically compromised children, especially those with seizure disorders, swallowing or breathing problems. Her goal is to create a participatory environment that is pleasing to both the child and the parent.   This environment provides a support system that facilitates the child's good behavior. 

Younger children are best seen in the morning when they are fresh and most cooperative.  This also allows the older children to have after school appointments.

Since most of our patients are school aged, it may be necessary to schedule some appointments during school hours.  We will do our best to minimize lost school time.

As a courtesy, we will confirm your appointment by phone or email two days prior to your visit. 

Please make every attempt to keep scheduled appointments.  Kept appointments help us serve you better.  Currently, we do not charge for broken appointments as many practices do; nor do we want to use this protocol.  However, you are missed when an appointment is broken or cancelled at the last minute.  Please notify us as soon as possible if you cannot keep an appointment so the time may be given to another patient.  Thank You!

Kids often have dental emergencies!  One of our most important services is to provide emergency care.  Please call if your child has any dental problems!

It is important for your child to have regular check-ups.  Children can readily develop cavities or gum disease or orthodontic problems; all these conditions are best treated if discovered early!

It is important to remember that hygiene services begin with our office, but the most important part of what you do for your child's teeth happens at home.  Office visits must always be followed by proper brushing, flossing, and healthy eating at home.  If you are not sure how, ask us at your appointment. 

It is also important for you child to learn that regular dental check-ups are an important part of growing up!

Our office is a fee for service office.  Payment is due at the time professional services are rendered. 

We accept cash, checks, mastercard, visa, amex and discover. 

All treatment plans will include a breakdown of all procedures with applicable fees for the procedures and procedure totals for each return visit.  Every effort will be made to provide quality care which fits your timetable and budget. 

If you have dental insurance, we will file it for you at no charge and assign all benefits payable back to you. 

In cases of extended treatment, we will file a claim to your dental insurance for the assigned benefits to be payable to our office.  You will be responsible for charges not covered by your insurance.
